Returns & Exchanges
We hope you will be delighted with your Bridie & Bert purchase, but if for any reason you would like to return or exchange an item, please read the information below.
Your Right to Cancel
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving any reason. To exercise this right, please contact us at sales@bridieandbert.com to let us know.
Once you have notified us of your cancellation, you have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.
Condition of Returns
You may try on items as you would in a shop to check the fit, size and feel. However, items must be returned unwashed, undamaged and in their original packaging, with swing tags still attached. If the value of the goods has been reduced by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and fit, we may deduct an appropriate amount from your refund.
Refunds
After inspection, if your goods are accepted for return, we will process your refund within 14 days of receiving the returned items (or proof of postage, if earlier). Refunds will be made using the same method of payment used for the original purchase, including the cost of standard delivery. If you chose a delivery option more expensive than our standard option, we will refund only the standard delivery cost.
Exchanges
We can exchange an item for the same product in a different size or colour, subject to availability. For additional or different items, a new order will need to be placed.
Return Postage
For change-of-mind returns, return postage costs and insurance are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a tracked service when returning items, as Bridie & Bert Ltd cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit.
Faulty or Incorrectly Described Goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if your item is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, you are entitled to a full refund within 30 days of receipt. After 30 days, you may be entitled to a repair or replacement. In these cases, we will cover the cost of return postage. Please contact us at sales@bridieandbert.com with details and, where possible, photographs of the fault.
International Returns
If you are returning goods from outside the UK, please clearly label the package as "British Return Goods" with a domestic value of £0.00.
